My second entry focuses on the brands of Cumbria who all add to the fabric of the county. We're not just about hills and lakes y'know!

Local Exchange Project - Stage 1

As part of Creative Cumbria's Local Exchange Project I designed this piece which focuses on the loneliness of Cumbria. This feeling isolation can also be a positive thing as it gives us time to breath and grow, hence the tree seems to survive by itself, on it's own.

Just came across this artist who, among other things, makes sculptures out of pencils. They really are beautiful pieces, and as an employee of Derwent, it makes them even more interesting!
